Any time a geopolitical crisis arises, including the Russian invasion of Ukraine, sports activities inevitably suffer collateral damage. One thing is certain in the midst of all the ambiguity: sports will continue to be a representation of unity and a stage for the expression of patriotism.
To raise money for their sports, athletes organize events like car washes, candy sales, raffles, t-shirt sales, junk drives, hire teams, virtual yard sales, peer-to-peer fundraising and even panhandling! Why is fundraising so critical to the athlete experience?
JRZY is extremely thrilled to have Angelo Messina as one of our athletes on our Athlete Advisory Board. By day he is a chemistry teacher for grades 6-12 and on nights and weekends he is a professional footgolf athlete from Long Island. Angelo works hard everyday to achieve his dream of becoming a paid and sponsored professional athlete.
We believe that by providing a proper opportunity and foundation, any athlete can easily activate the global community and use their own likeness, story, and dreams to fundraise their journey.
The problem we initially set out to solve as a company was to find something that resonates globally and also serves the 99% of athletes who don’t have solutions, access, and opportunities knocking down their doors.
People working together are always more powerful than any individual or institution.
Why were the 2022 Olympic hosts allowed to mask genocide?
JRZY is the only network where athletes can find sponsors but still find other ways to generate revenue and PR about themselves. The umbrella of services that the JRZYverse provides is exactly what 99% of athletes are looking for.
Think about all the people you’ve met from playing pickup, gaming, tailgating, bowling, rec leagues, etc. Those connections were made by sport.
Instead of allowing the riches they generate to be siphoned off, decentralization could pump billions of dollars back into the hands of athletes, their communities, and their causes.
Early on, we knew we could help athletes by also supporting the teams and organizations they belonged to as well.
If athletes adopted affordable and clean energy objectives as a major campaign using their influence and platforms, it would immediately become mainstream

We can clearly see the connection for sport to be a vehicle to provide the access to clean water and sanitation for the global community.
Next time that you think that it’s crazy how young kids are when they start to be treated as athletic commodities, remember that this is not limited to just AAU or America... It's Global.
Sports are star driven and social networks have increased the power of individuality. Ownership of ourselves, our content, our voices, and our leverage is what will continue to evolve.
While the gender gap continues to divide men's and women's sports, it is still the place where we can see the biggest positive impact.
